Arthur was baptised at the same service as his two mini adult paternal uncles – Willie Gowing, born 1877, Winston, Suffolk, and Harry Gowing, born 1875, Winston – youngest sons of William Palmer Gowing, an agricultural labourer, and Mary Ann Gowing (nee Taylor), of Main Road, Witnesham.
Died: 23rd April 1917; age 25; KiA.
