Died: 13th February 1945; age: 24; KiA during Operation Veritable – Battle of Reichswald.

The body was originally buried at Hassum, near Goch; the date of death and manner of death were unknown. On the 6^th September 1945, the body was exhumed, identified and re-buried at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
