Died: 7th February 1917; age 29; died of valvular disease, at 13, Sydney Road, Sutton, Surrey. W. Ingram, of 15, Sydney Road, Sutton, was present at the death.
Residence: 13, Sydney Road, Sutton, Surrey.
Parents’ residence: 27, Potter Street, Ipswich.
Occupation after discharge: a Labourer in a munition factory – Brock’s Fireworks.
Date of Entry Therein: 18th April 1915 – France.
Discharged on the 18th January 1917. Wounded.
Rank: Private; Service Number: 3145
Regiment: Suffolk Regiment, 4th Battalion.
Medals Awarded: Victory, British War & 1915 Star.
Funeral service and burial held on St. Valentine’s Day.

On the 14th October 1895, Alfred Dalby registered his son, Frank, at Woolmore Street School, Tower Hamlets. The Dalby family were living at 11, Warrington Road, London. Frank had previously attended a school at Ipswich.
