Baptised on the 13^th October 1898, at St. Michael’s Church, Ipswich – family home at 28, Regent Street, Ipswich.

Died: 28th March 1918; age 21; KiA.

Suffolk Chronicle and Mercury – Friday, 13^th June 1919 – Mrs. Emily Robinson, of 40, Pottery Street, Ipswich, has been officially notified that her only son, Private Frederick George Robinson, reported missing on the 28^th March 1918, is now officially reported to have died on that date, or since, in France.

Occupation: with Messrs. Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies, Orwell Works, Ipswich.

Frederick was 13 years old and living with his widowed mother & sister.

Emily, 51, a Charwoman – Domestic.

Emily Robinson, 20, a Stay Machinist – Corset Factory, born Ipswich.

Frederick was an old Pottery Street Club Scout, being one of the first to join when the troop was formed.

Frederick’s father, George Robinson, died on the 29^th June 1906 at his home, 28, Regent Street, Ipswich. The funeral service was held at St. Helen’s Church on the 4^th July before burial in Section HH, Ipswich Old Cemetery.

Evening Star – Monday, 26^th March 1917 – LIGHTING OFFENCES – Mrs. Emily Robinson, of Pottery Street, Ipswich, charwoman, who did not appear before the Mayor of Ipswich Mr. Valentine Desborough Colchester, was fined 10s in respect of an offence in connection with the County Hall buildings in St. Helen’s Street.
