Herbert was 24 years old, a Soldier ranked Private in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment.
Herbert’s mother, Charlotte Reeve, died on the 25th July 1904 at Freehold Road, Ipswich and was buried in Section X at Ipswich Old Cemetery.
