On the 16^th May 1910, at St. Margaret’s Church, Ipswich, 24 year old William, a baker, married 31 year old Emily Maud Curtis, born October 1878, St. Helen’s, Ipswich – daughter of William Curtis, an iron machinist – Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies, and Jane Curtis, of 9, Hervey Street, Ipswich.

Emily and William had two daughters:

Edna Mary Punchard, born November 1917, Ipswich.
